This image is still one of my favorites from one of the most fun trips I’ve been on to Crater Lake National Park. For a number of years, my father-in-law and I have gone winter camping at Crater Lake. The stillness, quiet, biting cold and clarity of winter makes it a favorite time to visit for me.
