This past summer in 2019, I was on a backpack trip with some buddies in the Three Sisters Wilderness. As we sat around camp eating a late dinner, one of my friends said to look up as the core of the Milky Way was directly overhead. I was excited when I saw that it aligned perfectly with this group of twisted dead trees.
